Meet Our Team

Bro. Ben Lownsdale has been preaching at FBC Union City since July 2021 and has been serving as pastor since April 2022. Serving the Lord at FBCUC is considered one of Bro. Ben’s greatest privileges and being a steward of God’s Word through its preaching is his highest priority. Since 2006, Bro. Ben has pastored various churches in Northwest TN and has also served in an occupational capacity as a workplace chaplain. In 2024, Bro. Ben received his certification from the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and has ministered God’s Word to counselees as a biblical counselor. Bro. Ben has written three books: The Doctrine of Ignorance: Crisis in the Church, At What Cost: Recovering Lost Ground for the Kingdom of God by Counting the Costs of Discipleship, and Provide and Conquer: 52 Devotionals to help you conquer your week.

Bro. Ben earned his Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry from Mid-Continent University in 2005. He currently resides in Union City, TN with his wife, Mandy, and their two children. He enjoys coffee, reading, writing, and Ohio State Football.
